About Me

I have been practicing Acupuncture and Chinese medicine since 1997, after graduating from the Canadian College Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Victoria, B.C. I became a registered in 2000 with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncturists of British Columbia, one of the first regulatory boards in North America. In 2003 I became registered with the Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Victoria, Australia, and since 2010, I've been registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority, which maintains high standards across the medical field.

Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated with various healthcare professionals, including GPs, chiropractors, and specialists like obstetricians, oncologists and neurologists. I’ve worked in multidisciplinary clinics and taught Acupuncture for four years at the 'Southern School of Natural Therapies' (now 'Torren's University) in Fitzroy, Victoria. My experience extends to treating elite athletes as well as individuals from all walks of life.

My journey into acupuncture began as a patient in 1993 when I sought relief from post-surgical chronic knee pain as well as severe carpal tunnel syndrome. My pain in both conditions vanished after a handful of acupuncture sessions, inspiring me to leave my government job and pursue a career in Chinese medicine. Originally from Canada, I’ve embraced life in Australia since 2000, where I enjoy riding horses and fly fishing in my free time.
